so really hoping that 4.5.2A will fix this as it says on the change log. So I did it, installed 4.5.2A on top of 4.5.1 I, reason, cannot let the Alarm fail on me again, like it did today, I kind need the Job lol. If you want a cheap phone, with awesome specs, this one will be hard to beat, happy with it so far. Not having the "Settings" button on the notification drawer is also a bit annoying.Īll and all, for the price, this is an amazing phone, it would be awesome if MEIZU unlocked bootloaders and let developers have a go at it, but we can't have it all. Notification drawer is bit messy, for example if you have 2 unread emails from GMAIL, normaly there is only one notification about it, with Flyme you have 3 notification, one for each email and another telling that I have 2 unread emails, but once you dismiss one of the message, 2 of the 3 GMAIL notification disappear and only the message that I did not dismiss stays there, a bit messy, but it's software, so hopefully updates will fix this. Volume through the headphone jack is low, good quality, but not loud enough for me Battery, seems to be draining a bit quick for the specs, but it has only been 1 day Flyme skin, it is good looking but will probably switch to Google Now or Nova in a few days One button does it all (home button (press), back button (tap) and lock button (long press) all in one) Just received mine yesterday here in the UK and it came with the International ROM, meaning Google Play Services out of the box and a lot less bloatware =D Once you device finishes rebooting, open "ViPER4Android" and enable the following for the Headset tab:Īfter this play some music/video and press volume down and then up again, now the maximum will be LOUDER =) still not as much as I would like, but a lot better =) Hi, so one of the things that has been annoying me with the M2 is the volume output, which is very low IMO, so got hands on and improved the audio quality, if you are interested in this, you will need to root you device, guide below:ġ - Root your device: settings > accounts > my flyme > select account > scroll down to 'system privileges' and check it.ħ - Extract the zip file and copy "ViPER4Android_FX_A4.x.apk" to your deviceĨ - On you device install and run "ViPER4Android"ĩ - When driver installation prompted, choose Yes.ġ0 - V4A auto detects your CPU and show available driver modes, select "Super Audio Quality"ġ1 - After installation done, Reboot device.
